Grow, hair, grow!!

I'm seriously HATING my hair right now. I'm growing it to at least my shoulders for the wedding finally after hmm-haaing over it for a few months now. It's taking all my willpower not to cut it! I hate how it's in that in-between stage right now. I like how it is in the profile picture for the blog but I think it's too short for the wedding dress. Sighhh . . . grow already!

Jaime's Bakeshop

Ryan and I were not really big into wedding cake but the Moms insisted and so now we're having a bigger cake than we intended. That being said, I am now freakin' obsessed with a cake. My Makeup Artist

I went back for my makeup trial at the MAC counter in Nordstroms in downtown Norfolk Easter weekend and I took Joy with me. This is where I met Sara Carden who did my makeup. She was a perfectionist which worked out very well for me. She isn't a freelance artist but I LOVE what she did to me. She really made my eyes POP. I loved it so much that I asked her what she'd charge me for doing my makeup the day of the wedding and I loved her price and Joy loved her too that she wants her to do her makeup as well. I am now officially in love with MAC makeup. I bought their foundation, concealer, and pressed powder essentially. Next on my shopping list is their Oil Control lotion which I was given a sample of and their blush in Mocha. I wear my foundation every day and it really looks so awesome. The best thing is that it's long-lasting. I trial-ran the makeup that day to see what kind of coverage I'd get at the end of the day. I came home to Ryan a few hours later and his reaction to what she did was more than worth it. He loved it! That's how I know I've picked the right everything. . . man included. ;)
